Most of you know that in addition to running Party Plan Divas that I am also still an active Party Plan Consultant. I stay active in my Party Plan Company because of my love for the business, the enjoyment of doing parties, and, most importantly so that I can keep all of the information that I bring to you as The Party Plan Coach relevant, up to date, and EFFECTIVE! With all of the outdated Party Plan and Direct Sales Training out there, I like to be able to say “Divas, I know this works, I did it on Thursday.” So tonight I am blogging from my heart but also from my own personal experience over the last few days.
Shred some POUNDS that is!
I will admit I am pretty terrified to do this publicly, but just like everything in our business, when you “put it all out there” it helps keep you accountable – not only to yourself, but also your readers. Plus, in talking with a few of our Cruising Divas, we have all laughed about wanting to look fabulous aboard the Carnival Triumph in October. SO – I am hoping that by me sharing this with all of you that you will not only help keep me accountable, but you may want to join me in this Challenge and do the same on your blog!
After this weeks Small Talk Six I was reminded how so many of my favorite people are also my favorite authors!! As much as I love a good murder mystery, I also love reading books on Success, Networking Marketing, and just Small Business Strategies in general.
Because I know that time is precious and that there are literally THOUSANDS of books “out there” to read, I wanted to share my list of my Top Ten, and I would love if you would leave me comments with some of your favorite books that you have read that have helped you either in life, or in business.
Today’s topic for Small Talk Six with MomDot is “6 famous people you would love to have dinner with.” The hardest part about this was narrowing down my list to just six! My “bucket list” is full of people I want to meet and have dinner with, so this is an absolutely perfect list for me to join in on!! Check out MomDot here to join in on the fun with Small Talk Six.
Today’s Wordless Wednesday is an image from TheOatmeal.com – a funny comic site that has everything from the “10 Things You Should Stop Tweeting About” to “The Ten Types of Crappy Interviewees.” The artists behind The Oatmeal do a great job of using comics to stress very important, REAL issues going on today.
Today’s post is an image from “10 Words You Need To Stop Misspelling” – my favorite ‘toon of the bunch!
I was a Freshman at Gulf Breeze High School and threw saber in Colorguard for the marching band. I loved having the opportunity to dance and perform, and I think this is where I truly learned the importance of a “sisterhood” and supporting and working together. I remember how some people scoffed at us, but some of the best memories of my life were made with my “Guard Sisters” as we won competitions (and got into mischief lol) all over the country. I spent more time practicing with those girls than I did with any boyfriend, my parents, or even on my school work (priorities! LOL) and we were all truly the best of friends. Even now, over 15 years later, you will find us all connected via Facebook, and still supporting and leaning on each other anytime we need anything. I love those girls, and even now, I still think of all of them as “sisters.”
This week we are talking about the Top 10 things YOU can do to ensure the success of your Party Plan Business!
