I will admit I am pretty terrified to do this publicly, but just like everything in our business, when you “put it all out there” it helps keep you accountable – not only to yourself, but also your readers. Party Plan Consultant – Be the best teacher, leader and coach you can be!

As a Leader it is your job to train your team, show them “the ropes” coach them what to do, and more importantly what NOT to do. I remember stories my other grandfather used to tell of his travels as a Pilot for the US Air Force. He taught me a lot about how a plane flies, and how a “flight plan” is determined and so on. It wasn’t until years later that I would reflect on his stories in my memories of him that I started to realize how much flying a plane is like going through life.

A Lesson From Around The World

Tonight I went to church for the first time in probably 10 years. It isn’t because I am not a Christian or anything (in fact, quite the opposite) but I guess because I really wasnt brought up in the Church like so many of my friends and colleagues, I just never thought to go. I was always taught to have my own relationship with Him, and that has always been good for me. I have gone each year for Christmas and Easter, but tonight was just because I wanted to go. Something just told me that tonight I needed to go. I am glad I did – I learned an incredible lesson.
