Since yesterday I talked about organization I thought today would be a good day to talk about Hostess Folders – one of THE most important parts of your business than need to be ORGANIZED!! The truth is, Hostess Folders are worth their weight in GOLD! This is where you are going to keep all of your Party information from start to finish.
If there was one business tool that I would say I absolutely “can not do business without” (My Diva Success System Planner not included) it would be my Mobile Office. I do not go ANYWHERE without my Mobile Office! It is either in my office or in my car, and I even take it in to all of my parties! If you need to get organized – and fast – set up a Mobile Office! You will wonder how you ever did business without it!

One of the obstacles I had to overcome as a new Party Plan Consultant was… how do I CARRY all of this STUFF!?! Because I purchased one of the larger demo kits that my company offered, I literally had 80 or so products I had to tote around from party to party. Being the Diva that I am, suit cases just wasnt going to cut it, so I headed to the internet to see what I could find. That is when my love affair with Yazmo began.
I love catalog purses. What better way to scream “I am a Party Plan Consultant” than to carry a purse that SHOWS your catalog right in front! The problem – they were always so EXPENSIVE! So I was totally thrilled when last year, Karen from TRN Designs contacted me about doing a review/giveaway of her hand made catalog purses!
Several years ago while searching eBay for Gardening Tools, I ran across a company called eFavorMart. I was wowed not only at their awesome assortment of personalized goodies, but at the PRICE! Everything from customized organza bags, matchbooks, napkins, favor boxes… but all at a price that was much more reasonable than I ever would have expected. eFavorMart is geared mostly towards weddings, but with a little imagination, you can really come up with some awesome tools to boost your home party plan business!
QR Codes were originally created for tracking parts in automobile manufacturing, but they have caught on quickly and are now being used for everything from marketing, information sharing, and customer care. Simply put, you can scan a QR Code with your Smartphone or other device, and you will be directed to whatever site that QR code is linked to.
