Alright ladies, fess up. You know we do this.
During the colder months I think every woman get a little lax on shaving her legs. Truth is its a daunting task that we beg our Moms to let us do as young girls, and then loathe having to do it daily for the next 30+-some-odd years. Between razor burn, drying your skin out, missing patches…. I mean, come on, we are wearing jeans anyways, right?
Wrong.
Can you imagine if your partner just decided to stop shaving his face… for like… 5 months? Ok, granted, that is an exaggeration, we do some intermittent scalpings when it is cold outside, but you have to admit those are few and far between.
When Independent Athena’s Home Novelties Consultant Jessica Carter said she was going to send “the best shaving cream in the whole world” I kinda chuckled – thinking it better get here fast before the temperatures drop. Heh.

I received my package which included three products - Coochy Rash Free Shave Cream, Flirty Body Mist, and a Chocolate Mint Rub Me Massage Bar. What I noticed first was the incredible packaging of the shave cream and body mist – not only is it tasteful and discreet, but I have high end spa products in cheaper packaging. These bottles with pumps and tight fitting lids are nice! The Massage Bar smelled good enough to eat.
Later that evening I jumped into the shower to try the shave cream and well… I have to concur with Jessica. This is really good stuff. The Coochy did not lather or foam like most shave creams do, but instead made a really nice layer of protection between me and my razor so shaving was *literally* quick and painless. According to the label, the Coochy Shave Cream will work anywhere you wish to shave… even works for men’s beards – and we know how coarse those can be.
The Rub Me Massage Bar was awesome and melted right into my skin as it was still hot from the shower. The massage bar has only three ingredients – cocoa butter, shea butter, and fragrance oil – making it one of the most pure, natural massage products on the market. To finish I spritzed myself with the “Icing On The Cake” scented Flirty Body Mist which is infused with pheromones. I am not sure which smells better – the mist or the massage bar. Either way I crawled in to bed feeling smooth, moisturized and sexy – smelling like a chocolate cupcake…
The Athena’s Coochy Shave Cream made shaving my legs less of a chore and even the next day my legs felt nice and smooth. I will absolutely be using this exclusively now year round. The Flirty Body Mist and Chocolate Mint Massage Bar were so fun, and make you smell absolutely edible …. after all, they do say that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach…
